Nike is fast building a sports team we want to be a part of. Joining a starting eleven that includes Givenchy’s Riccardo Tisci, Balmain’s Olivier Rousteing and tennis ace Roger Federer is Louis Vuitton style director Kim Jones.  Forming part of NikeLab’s Summer of Sport series, the British designer has remixed key Nike pieces with his own streetwear-meets-sportswear signature, such as a jacquard print t-shirt inspired by brand’s Flyknit trainers. The collection, designed to represent what athletes might take when heading to the Rio 2016 Olympics, also includes a lightweight, packable Windrunner made from a single piece of fabric. For sneakerheads (and we can include Jones in that because he owns more than 500 pairs) there’s an updated Nike Air Zoom that pairs the original Zoom 95 upper with an Air Max 1 last.  It doesn’t look like Nike is going to be short of high-profile (and no doubt highly successful) collaborations this summer. We can only wonder who else is waiting in the locker room… The NikeLab x Kim Jones: Packable Sport Style collection will be available at Nike and in select NikeLab stores from 23 July, priced from £80 for the t-shirt. http://www.nike.com/us/en_us/c/nikelab  NikeLab x Kim Jones_4 NikeLab x Kim Jones_3 NikeLab_Air_Zoom_LWP_x_KJ_12_rectangle_1600 NikeLab_Air_Zoom_LWP_x_KJ_15_rectangle_1600 NikeLab_Air_Zoom_LWP_x_KJ_16_rectangle_1600
